Nuplex: Stream Your Seedbox with the Evoseedbox Android App

What Is Nuplex?
Nuplex is Evoseedbox’s own Android app: it turns the content already sitting on your seedbox into a streaming library you can open on your phone or tablet. Movies, shows, music and audiobooks stored on your box show up as a browsable library with posters and artwork, and play directly from your seedbox — no syncing, no copying files to your device first, no third-party media server to configure.
Nuplex is included with every Evoseedbox plan at no extra cost. If you have an active seedbox, you already have everything you need to use it.
What You Can Do with It
- Stream your library — movies and shows on your seedbox appear on the Home screen as a poster library and stream straight from your box.
- Music and audiobooks — audio on your seedbox gets its own shelves, with proper tags, covers and a mini-player for audiobooks.
- Manage downloads — the Downloads tab shows your torrents, so you can check progress and manage items without opening ruTorrent.
- Fix and clean up from the couch — long-press any poster to correct a wrong match or remove the item from your seedbox.
- Stay current automatically — the app checks for updates and installs new versions in place.
How to Install It
- Download the app on your Android device: direct APK download (also linked from the Nuplex banner at the top of your client area).
- Open the downloaded file. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser the first time — allow it and continue.
- Open Nuplex and sign in with your seedbox username and password — the same credentials you use for ruTorrent. There is no separate registration.
That’s it. Your library builds itself from what’s on your box.
Signing In
Nuplex authenticates directly against your seedbox account. Use the ruTorrent username and password from your welcome email (also shown in your client area under your service details). Every plan works — there is no minimum tier and nothing to activate.

Does Nuplex cost anything?
No. It is included with every Evoseedbox plan.
Which plans can use it?
All of them. If your seedbox is active, Nuplex works with it.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet — Nuplex is currently Android-only. iOS is on the roadmap.
I used an early beta and now I have two Nuplex icons
Early beta builds (0.12.0 and older) installed under a separate app identity. After updating you may see two icons: open the new one, sign in once, and uninstall the old app (the one still showing 0.12.0). This was a one-time change — from 0.12.1 onward, updates install in place and keep you signed in. Recent versions will also detect the old copy and offer to remove it for you.
Do I need Plex or Jellyfin for this?
No. Nuplex talks to your seedbox directly. If you already run Plex that keeps working as before — Nuplex is simply the fastest way to stream what’s on your box without setting up a media server.
