Using rtorrent labels to route downloads

Labels are how EvoSeedboxBot decides what to do with a finished torrent. Set a label in ruTorrent when you add the torrent, and auto-organise routes it accordingly.

Setting a label in ruTorrent

1. Right-click the torrent → Labels → pick one or type a new one (for example tv, movies, anime).
2. Autodl-irssi and RSS filters can assign labels automatically when they add torrents.

Three settings in EvoSeedboxBot

Settings → Auto-organise:

• Trigger labels — comma list of labels to process. Empty means every finished torrent.
• Ignore labels — never touched. Default ignore, skip, raw.
• Label → type map — forces the kind instead of guessing from names: tv=episode, movies=movie, anime=anime. Useful for shows whose names look like movies and for anime, which then goes to AniDB with absolute numbering.

Living with Sonarr and Radarr

They label their own torrents (the download-client category, often tv-sonarr and radarr) and import the files themselves. Put those labels in Ignore labels; EvoSeedboxBot then only organises what you add by hand, and nothing is imported twice.

Checking a label before it runs

On the Downloads tab each torrent shows its label and a status: new (will be processed), label ignored, or the result of the last run. Preview shows the plan for that torrent without changing anything.

Note: labels are read from rtorrent itself (d.custom1), so anything that sets them — ruTorrent, autodl, RSS — works.
