Keyboard shortcuts

All the evoftp keyboard shortcuts are listed below. There are not many: the app is built for the mouse, and the keys cover the things you do most often — download, upload, refresh and move around a folder list. On Windows and Linux the modifier is Ctrl; on macOS it is ⌘.

Transfer and window shortcuts

These work anywhere in the window, whichever pane has focus.

Moving around a file list

Click once inside a pane so it has focus, then:

Selecting with the mouse

• Click — select one item and drop the rest of the selection.
• Ctrl-click (⌘-click on macOS) — add an item to the selection, or remove one that is already selected.
• Shift-click — select every row between the last item you clicked and this one.

Double-click

• A folder in either pane opens it.
• A file in the seedbox pane starts downloading it into the folder shown on the left.
• A file in the local pane opens it with whatever your OS uses for that file type.
• A server in the sidebar needs only a single click to connect.

Note: the shortcuts cannot be changed, and there is no shortcut for New folder or Rename — use the toolbar or the right-click menu.
