Naming schemes: Plex, Jellyfin, Kodi, Emby, flat and anime

Pick the layout your media server expects and the matching preset does the rest. Every preset below is on the Rename tab under Preset and in Settings → Auto-organise; the paths shown are what you get for Breaking Bad S01E01 and Alien (1979).

Plex

Preset Nuplex + Plex — TV / Movies, format {plex}:

TV Shows/Breaking Bad (2008)/Season 01/Breaking Bad (2008) - S01E01 - Pilot.mkv
Movies/Alien (1979)/Alien (1979).mkv

Point the output at the folders Plex already scans (Settings → Auto-organise → Output folder). On first start EvoSeedboxBot reads your Plex libraries and fills this in.

Jellyfin, Kodi and Emby

Preset Jellyfin / Kodi — TV / Movies: TV Shows/{n} ({y})/Season {s.pad(2)}/{n} - {s00e00} - {t} and Movies/{n} ({y})/{n} ({y}). The difference from Plex is only the episode file name without the year; both servers read the tvshow.nfo / movie.nfo id files EvoSeedboxBot leaves next to the media. Nuplex

Same folders as Plex — the Nuplex Seedbox Library reads Name (Year) folders and S01E01 names. One organised copy serves both; see One library for Plex and Nuplex.

Flat, with quality

Preset Flat — TV with quality: {n} - {s00e00} - {t}{' ['+vf+' '+vc+']'} → Breaking Bad - S01E01 - Pilot [720p x264].mkv, all files in one folder.

Anime

Preset Nuplex + Plex — Anime (AniDB, Absolute order): Anime/{n} ({y})/{n} {absolute.pad(2)} - {t}. Details in Renaming anime with absolute episode numbers.

Variants people ask for

Article at the end — {n.sortName()} ({y}) gives Office, The (2005).
Sorted by first letter — prefix with {az}/.
Movie collections — Movies/{collection ?: n}/{ny} puts all Alien films in one folder.
Season year — {n}/Season {s.pad(2)} ({airdate.year})/… is not supported; use {y} for the series year.
Multi-part movies — parts named CD1/CD2 become Name (Year) - pt1.mkv automatically.
