What the numbers mean
Why is my result lower than my ISP plan speed?+
A browser test is limited by your own connection, Wi-Fi, distance to the node and current load. A single stream rarely saturates a fast line — the raw file download or a multi-connection FTP transfer from your box will show the box’s true speed.
Does this test my seedbox’s speed?+
It tests the network path between you and our node — a great proxy for what your box can deliver. For the box’s internal 10 Gbps port, run a transfer from the box (e.g. an FTP grab or the guide below).
Do you log test results?+
No. The test runs in your browser against our node; we don’t store your results or IP.
What network is behind this?+
Tier-1 connectivity with a 10 Gbps port per box on a 20 Gbps aggregate network, hosted in the Netherlands on the AMS-IX backbone.
