What Is Split Tunneling? #
Split tunneling routes only specific apps through the VPN while the rest use your normal internet connection. This means you can torrent privately through the seedbox VPN while streaming Netflix normally.
Setup on Android #
- Open WireGuard app → edit your seedbox tunnel
- Under Interface, tap “All Applications”
- Select Exclude mode
- Check the apps you want to bypass the VPN (Netflix, YouTube, banking apps)
- Or select Include mode and only check apps you want routed through VPN
Recommended Split Tunnel Config #
- Through VPN: Chrome/Firefox (private browsing), torrent apps
- Bypass VPN: Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, banking apps, games
