Who Actually Needs 10Gbps?
Honest answer: not everyone. A 1 Gbps port already outruns almost every home connection on earth. You benefit from 10 Gbps when:
- You grab fresh, busy torrents — port speed determines how fast you pull from (and push to) a hot swarm, which matters for ratio building and being early.

- You move big files home — with a fast home line and parallel FTP transfers, a 50 GB file arrives while you make coffee.

No single torrent swarm sustains 10 Gbps — the port is about headroom, not one giant download. It means many simultaneous transfers, streams and uploads without any of them competing.
Is the 10Gbps port shared?
Like virtually all seedbox offerings at this price, plans share server uplinks — the 10 Gbps port is the server’s connection. The plans are sized so workloads fit comfortably; you can verify real-world speeds with the built-in LibreSpeed test.
Do I need a fast home connection to benefit?
For streaming, no — streams adapt to whatever your device connection supports. For transferring files home, your home downstream is the ceiling; the 10 Gbps port ensures the seedbox side is never the bottleneck.
10Gbps or more storage — which should I pick?
Pick storage if you archive and seed long-term (the Plex line goes to 8 TB). Pick 10 Gbps if you race, stream heavily, or move files home constantly.
