I have been using seedboxes for past 10 years, I have personally tried various different programs and come to the conclusion that rutorrent is one of the most user-friendly application as a front end to seedboxes. Keep in mind this document will be constantly updated based on user inputs queries and doubts the idea is to make your experience smooth and make your learning curve as small as possible<\/p>\n

So let us begin :<\/p>\n

1. What is rutorrent?
\nRutorrent is a front end or a \u0432\u0435\u0431-\u0438\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0444\u0435\u0439\u0441 for a torrent program called rtorrent that runs in Linux.<\/p>\n

So you might be thinking why do you need a separate interface for rtorrent?
\nrtorrent is an extremely resource efficient program so it runs in the terminal interface\n<\/p>\n

\"Rutorrent<\/p>\n

not bad eh.. but it's not the most user-friendly interface for most users and remote access makes it furthermore challenging for regular users who are not very familiar with such interfaces<\/p>\n

So fast forward years and Novik comes into the picture .. umm you might be thinking who is Novik? well he is the guy who built rutorrent

So what rutorrent does is creates a \u0432\u0435\u0431-\u0438\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0444\u0435\u0439\u0441 for rtorrent. It collects data from rtorrent and puts it \u043d\u0430 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c web browser along with the option to communicate with your rtorrent which is running mostly on Linux server in much more user-friendly manner.<\/p>\n

Your rutorrent looks \u043f\u0440\u0438\u043c\u0435\u0440\u043d\u043e \u0442\u0430\u043a :\n<\/p>\n

\n\u0415\u0441\u043b\u0438 \u0432\u044b have used programs like utorrent , azureus (Vuze ) etc the interface would look quite similar to you the only difference is that it runs \u0441 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u0433\u043e web browser.<\/p>\n

\nSo let's get back to business and let me explain to you how \u0432\u044b \u043c\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0442\u0435 easily access a rutorrent account with us,<\/p>\n

\u0428\u0430\u0433 2: \u041a\u0430\u043a load up the rutorrent interface in evoseedbox?
\nOnce you have signed up for a seedbox account (In case you have not please do that at\u00a0https:\/\/evoseedbox.com<\/a>\u00a0)
\nCheck your email ( \u042d\u0442\u043e very critical\u00a0<\/p>\n

you \u043d\u0430\u0439\u0434\u0451\u0442\u0435 a link \u043d\u0430 \u0432\u0430\u0448 \u043b\u0438\u0447\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043a\u0430\u0431\u0438\u043d\u0435\u0442.<\/p>\n

Once you are \u0432 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c \u043b\u0438\u0447\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043a\u0430\u0431\u0438\u043d\u0435\u0442 \u043e\u043d \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442 look \u043f\u0440\u0438\u043c\u0435\u0440\u043d\u043e \u0442\u0430\u043a :\n<\/p>\n

Did you \u0445\u043e\u0442\u0438\u0442\u0435 seed the \u043f\u0430\u0440\u043e\u043b\u044c, didn't you?\u00a0<\/p>\n

So as \u0432\u044b \u043c\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0442\u0435 see I have highlighted the rutorrent area and \u0435\u0441\u0442\u044c a green \u043a\u043d\u043e\u043f\u043a\u0430 below it called open, just click on it and yay!! \u0432\u044b \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442\u0435 have your rutorrent interface open.<\/p>\n

You thought it would be hard\u00a0<\/p>\n

well we have already pre\u043d\u0430\u0441\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0438\u0442\u044cd the setup for you so you don't \u043d\u0443\u0436\u043d\u043e do much.<\/p>\n

Now you must be thinking well it did not ask for my user id or \u043f\u0430\u0440\u043e\u043b\u044c for opening up rutorrent.
\nThe thing is \u0432 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c \u043b\u0438\u0447\u043d\u044b\u0439 \u043a\u0430\u0431\u0438\u043d\u0435\u0442 the \u0438\u043c\u044f \u043f\u043e\u043b\u044c\u0437\u043e\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044f is and \u043f\u0430\u0440\u043e\u043b\u044c is already pre\u043d\u0430\u0441\u0442\u0440\u043e\u0438\u0442\u044cd in the open \u043a\u043d\u043e\u043f\u043a\u0430 which saves you the hassle of putting the \u0438\u043c\u044f \u043f\u043e\u043b\u044c\u0437\u043e\u0432\u0430\u0442\u0435\u043b\u044f and \u043f\u0430\u0440\u043e\u043b\u044c every time.<\/p>\n

Now that you have your rutorrent open let's move to step 3<\/p>\n

3. Adding torrents to rutorrent.
\n\u0412 \u044d\u0442\u043e\u043c \u0440\u0443\u043a\u043e\u0432\u043e\u0434\u0441\u0442\u0432\u0435, we are going to only consider the methods within the torrents interface. There are more \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0434\u0432\u0438\u043d\u0443\u0442\u044b\u0439 methods like remotely adding torrents \u0438\u0437 browser, Android device, apps but we won't be covering it in this guide to keep is \u043f\u0440\u043e\u0441\u0442\u043e\u0439 and once you understand the basic ways of adding the torrents its<\/p>\n

Method 1.
\nDrag and drop, yes its that easy drag and drop your tracker file to rutorrent and boom \u043e\u043d \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442 start loading \u0432 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c rutorrent interface<\/p>\n

Method 2
\nUsing add \u043a\u043d\u043e\u043f\u043a\u0430 in torrent on the top right corner \u0432\u044b \u043c\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0442\u0435 see a + sign if you open it up it gives you an option to browse to the folder where you have downloaded your tracker file from a torrent website, select the torrent\/torrents(at a time \u0432\u044b \u043c\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0442\u0435 do 20 tracker files) and then click add file and \u043e\u043d \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442 start downlaoding \u0432 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c rutorrent \u0432\u0435\u0431-\u0438\u043d\u0442\u0435\u0440\u0444\u0435\u0439\u0441.\n<\/p>\n

Method 3.<\/p>\n

It is similar to the previous method but in this case instead of downloading the tracker file \u0441 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u0433\u043e torrent website you copy the link \u0441 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u0433\u043e tracker website and put it the Torrent URL field and press add.<\/p>\n

Please note that in some public trackers which are behind cache proxies etc this method might not work, one solution could be to convert the magnet links to tracker files from websites like\u00a0http:\/\/magnet2torrent.me\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Rutorrent<\/p>\n

These are the most basic methods of adding a torrent to rutorrent other methods of adding torrents with rutorrent will be covered in a different tutorial.<\/p>\n

Now that \u0432\u044b \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442\u0435 start to add torrents \u0432\u044b \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442\u0435 soon realise that you might be reaching the full HDD capacity of \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0438\u043c seedbox ( \u0412\u044b \u043c\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0442\u0435 always upgrade) but don\u2019t fret \u0432\u044b \u043c\u043e\u0436\u0435\u0442\u0435 always remove torrents make some space by removing torrents.<\/p>\n

Which brings us to our next topic<\/p>\n

4. Removing torrents in rutorrent<\/p>\n

there are primarily 2 ways to remove torrents from rutorrent. The first method would remove just the tracker file in case you are done seeding a particular torrent or you don\u2019t want a certain torrent to be anymore listed \u0432 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c rutorrent interface.<\/p>\n

\nPlease note that in this method the data of the torrent still remains os you \u043d\u0443\u0436\u043d\u043e either delete it using the \u0444\u0430\u0439\u043b\u043e\u0432\u044b\u0439 \u043c\u0435\u043d\u0435\u0434\u0436\u0435\u0440 in rutorrent<\/p>\n

Method 2. Removing and delete data method.<\/p>\n

This method applies ot torrents which you don't want anymore \u043d\u0430 \u0432\u0430\u0448\u0435\u043c system
\n\u041e\u043d \u0431\u0443\u0434\u0435\u0442 not only remove the tracker file but make space for you to download more torrents in case your HDD is getting full. The process of doing \u044d\u0442\u043e similar you \u043d\u0443\u0436\u043d\u043e \u0449\u0451\u043b\u043a\u043d\u0438\u0442\u0435 \u043f\u0440\u0430\u0432\u043e\u0439 \u043a\u043d\u043e\u043f\u043a\u043e\u0439 \u043c\u044b\u0448\u0438 \u043d\u0430 the torrent you \u0445\u043e\u0442\u0438\u0442\u0435 get rid of and select remove and delete data.<\/p>\n
