I have been using seedboxes for past 10 years, I have personally tried various different programs and come to the conclusion that rutorrent is one of the most user-friendly application as a front end to seedboxes. Keep in mind this document will be constantly updated based on user inputs queries and doubts the idea is to make your experience smooth and make your learning curve as small as possible<\/p>\n

So let us begin :<\/p>\n

1. What is rutorrent?
\nRutorrent is a front end or a \uc6f9 \uc778\ud130\ud398\uc774\uc2a4 for a torrent program called rtorrent that runs in Linux.<\/p>\n

So you might be thinking why do you need a separate interface for rtorrent?
\nrtorrent is an extremely resource efficient program so it runs in the terminal interface\n<\/p>\n

\"Rutorrent<\/p>\n

not bad eh.. but it's not the most user-friendly interface for most users and remote access makes it furthermore challenging for regular users who are not very familiar with such interfaces<\/p>\n

So fast forward years and Novik comes into the picture .. umm you might be thinking who is Novik? well he is the guy who built rutorrent

So what rutorrent does is creates a \uc6f9 \uc778\ud130\ud398\uc774\uc2a4 for rtorrent. It collects data from rtorrent and puts it \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 web browser along with the option to communicate with your rtorrent which is running mostly on Linux server in much more user-friendly manner.<\/p>\n

Your rutorrent looks \uc774\ub7f0 \ubaa8\uc2b5 :\n<\/p>\n

\n\ub9cc\uc57d have used programs like utorrent , azureus (Vuze ) etc the interface would look quite similar to you the only difference is that it runs \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 web browser.<\/p>\n

\nSo let's get back to business and let me explain to you how \ud560 \uc218 \uc788\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4 easily access a rutorrent account with us,<\/p>\n

\ub2e8\uacc4 2: \ubc29\ubc95\uff1a load up the rutorrent interface in evoseedbox?
\nOnce you have signed up for a seedbox account (In case you have not please do that at\u00a0https:\/\/evoseedbox.com<\/a>\u00a0)
\nCheck your email ( \uc774\uac83\uc740 very critical\u00a0<\/p>\n

\ubcf4\uac8c \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 find a link \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 \ud074\ub77c\uc774\uc5b8\ud2b8 \uc601\uc5ed.<\/p>\n

Once you are \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 \ud074\ub77c\uc774\uc5b8\ud2b8 \uc601\uc5ed \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 look \uc774\ub7f0 \ubaa8\uc2b5 :\n<\/p>\n

Did you want to seed the \ube44\ubc00\ubc88\ud638, didn't you?\u00a0<\/p>\n

So as \ud560 \uc218 \uc788\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4 see I have highlighted the rutorrent area and \uc788\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4 a green \ubc84\ud2bc below it called open, just click on it and yay!! \ubcf4\uac8c \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 have your rutorrent interface open.<\/p>\n

You thought it would be hard\u00a0<\/p>\n

well we have already pre\uad6c\uc131d the setup for you so you don't \ud574\uc57c \ud569\ub2c8\ub2e4 do much.<\/p>\n

Now you must be thinking well it did not ask for my user id or \ube44\ubc00\ubc88\ud638 for opening up rutorrent.
\nThe thing is \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 \ud074\ub77c\uc774\uc5b8\ud2b8 \uc601\uc5ed the \uc0ac\uc6a9\uc790 \uc774\ub984 is and \ube44\ubc00\ubc88\ud638 is already pre\uad6c\uc131d in the open \ubc84\ud2bc which saves you the hassle of putting the \uc0ac\uc6a9\uc790 \uc774\ub984 and \ube44\ubc00\ubc88\ud638 every time.<\/p>\n

Now that you have your rutorrent open let's move to step 3<\/p>\n

3. Adding torrents to rutorrent.
\n\uc774 \uac00\uc774\ub4dc\uc5d0\uc11c\ub294, we are going to only consider the methods within the torrents interface. There are more advanced methods like remotely adding torrents from the browser, Android device, apps but we won't be covering it in this guide to keep is simple and once you understand the basic ways of adding the torrents its<\/p>\n

Method 1.
\nDrag and drop, yes its that easy drag and drop your tracker file to rutorrent and boom \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 start loading \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 rutorrent interface<\/p>\n

Method 2
\nUsing add \ubc84\ud2bc in torrent on the top right corner \ud560 \uc218 \uc788\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4 see a + sign if you open it up it gives you an option to browse to the folder where you have downloaded your tracker file from a torrent website, select the torrent\/torrents(at a time \ud560 \uc218 \uc788\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4 do 20 tracker files) and then click add file and \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 start downlaoding \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 rutorrent \uc6f9 \uc778\ud130\ud398\uc774\uc2a4.\n<\/p>\n

Method 3.<\/p>\n

It is similar to the previous method but in this case instead of downloading the tracker file \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 torrent website you copy the link \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 tracker website and put it the Torrent URL field and press add.<\/p>\n

Please note that in some public trackers which are behind cache proxies etc this method might not work, one solution could be to convert the magnet links to tracker files from websites like\u00a0http:\/\/magnet2torrent.me\/<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Rutorrent<\/p>\n

These are the most basic methods of adding a torrent to rutorrent other methods of adding torrents with rutorrent will be covered in a different tutorial.<\/p>\n

Now that \ubcf4\uac8c \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 start to add torrents \ubcf4\uac8c \ub420 \uac83\uc785\ub2c8\ub2e4 soon realise that you might be reaching the full HDD capacity of \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 Seedbox ( You can always upgrade) but don\u2019t fret \ud560 \uc218 \uc788\uc2b5\ub2c8\ub2e4 always remove torrents make some space by removing torrents.<\/p>\n

Which brings us to our next topic<\/p>\n

4. Removing torrents in rutorrent<\/p>\n

there are primarily 2 ways to remove torrents from rutorrent. The first method would remove just the tracker file in case you are done seeding a particular torrent or you don\u2019t want a certain torrent to be anymore listed \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 rutorrent interface.<\/p>\n

\nPlease note that in this method the data of the torrent still remains os you \ud574\uc57c \ud569\ub2c8\ub2e4 either delete it using the \ud30c\uc77c \uad00\ub9ac\uc790 in rutorrent<\/p>\n

Method 2. Removing and delete data method.<\/p>\n

This method applies ot torrents which you don't want anymore \ub2f9\uc2e0\uc758 system
\nIt will not only remove the tracker file but make space for you to download more torrents in case your HDD is getting full. The process of doing \uc774\uac83\uc740 similar you \ud574\uc57c \ud569\ub2c8\ub2e4 \ub9c8\uc6b0\uc2a4 \uc624\ub978\ucabd \ubc84\ud2bc\uc73c\ub85c \ud074\ub9ad the torrent you want to get rid of and select remove and delete data.<\/p>\n
