What Is Overseerr?<\/h2>\n

Overseerr is a modern media request and discovery tool that integrates with Plex, Sonarr, and Radarr. It provides a beautiful interface where you and your Plex users can browse, request, and automatically download movies and TV shows.<\/p>\n

Installing Overseerr<\/h2>\n

  1. Open your Evoseedbox dashboard<\/a> \u2192 Apps section<\/li>\n
  2. Find Overseerr \u2192 Click Install<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Once installed, click Open<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Sign in with your Plex account<\/li>\n
    2. Configure your Plex server connection (usually auto-detected)<\/li>\n
    3. Add Sonarr: Settings \u2192 Services \u2192 Add Sonarr \u2192 Enter localhost, port 8989, API key from Sonarr \u2192 Settings \u2192 General<\/li>\n
    4. Add Radarr: Same process, port 7878<\/li>\n
    5. Configure user permissions (who can request what)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How Overseerr Works<\/h2>\n

      1. A user browses Overseerr’s catalog and clicks Request<\/strong> on a movie or show<\/li>\n
      2. Overseerr sends the request to Sonarr (TV) or Radarr (movies)<\/li>\n
      3. Sonarr\/Radarr searches your indexers via Prowlarr<\/li>\n
      4. The torrent downloads via ruTorrent or Deluge<\/li>\n
      5. The file is organized and appears in Plex automatically<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
