Duplicati was designed for online backups from scratch. It is not only data efficient but also handles network issues nicely. E.g. interrupted backups can be resumed and Duplicati tests the content of backups regularly. That way broken backups on corrupt almacenamiento systems can be detected before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n

Remember when storing data, the rule of 3 applies. Duplicati is a great choice for one of those 3 options.<\/p>\n

Cu\u00e1ndo you first open the app, you will be greeted with this screen. Seleccione the appropriate answer for your situation.<\/p>\n

The next screen ver\u00e1 if you select Yes is below. Set your contrase\u00f1a and adjust any other settings you see fit. I left all the other settings other than the contrase\u00f1a at default. <\/p>\n

Next we need to start backing up our data. Seleccione add back up, and then configure a new back up.<\/p>\n

Now name your back up and add a description if needed. <\/p>\n

Nota: at this step, you must enter a passphrase or disable encryption. Otherwise it will prompt you to do so at the end. <\/p>\n

Next you will select your back up destination on your EVO server. The folder is your choice, so choose whatever folder is best for your situation. <\/p>\n

Next you have to select the source data you want to back up. It has to be on the EVO server. <\/p>\n

Ensure you tick the box next to the folder or file you want to back up. Clicking the file name will not prompt it to be selected, only highlighted. <\/p>\n

Adjust your schedule to what you think is best for your situation. I used the default settings. <\/p>\n

Finally puede adjust these options if you'd like. I used the default settings. Puede explore the advanced options, but none of them were appropriate for what I wanted to back up. Click save and you are done!<\/p>\n

Creating first backup using Duplicati

Paso 1: Haga clic en the Add backup button<\/p>\n

Paso 2: Seleccione configure a new backup and haga clic en the next button<\/p>\n

\nPaso 3: Name you backup and generate your Passphase.<\/p>\n

Nota: <\/strong>keep you passphrase secure as it is the key to decrypt your backup.<\/p>\n

Una vez que haga clic en generate, a passphrase will appear, note it down somewhere with you and haga clic en the next button.\n<\/p>\n

Paso 4: Seleccione backup destination. By default it is tu seedbox but yu can find many options in the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n

Paso 5: Add files to be backed up. These files are fetched from tu seedbox.<\/p>\n

Puede use the filter and exclude rule to set backups for particular files in a folder.<\/p>\n

Once done, puede haga clic en the next button.<\/p>\n

Step 6: Schedule your automated backups <\/p>\n

Step 7: Add your preference in the general options and haga clic en Guardar.<\/p>\n
