Hey, so you want to use Ihrer Seedbox as a cloud sharing platform or to manage files and media remotely? Then this app called Nextcloud is perfect for you!<\/p>\n

In diesem Artikel, we will learn how to use Nextcloud and about the basic features of the application.<\/p>\n

The first step is to installieren the Nextcloud app. This can be done with just one click from your evoSeedbox-Dashboard.<\/p>\n

Now that your Nextclud app is installierened on Ihrer Seedbox =, it is time to look inside the app.<\/p>\n

\u00d6ffnen the app and you will be asked to anmelden. Use the FTP Anmeldedaten given in Ihrer Seedbox\u2019s dashboard.\n<\/p>\n

Sobald Sie sign in, you will finden on a window like this:\u00a0<\/p>\n

\nLooks nice right? Sie k\u00f6nnen customize it too. Just scroll down a bit to finden the customize button.<\/p>\n

A pop-up will appear on the screen. Over here, k\u00f6nnen Sie add widgets like weather, recommended files, etc. k\u00f6nnen Sie even get more widgets from the Nextcloud app store.<\/p>\n

Now let us get into the more interesting and useful part of the app. File management.<\/p>\n

On the top-left side of the dashboard, k\u00f6nnen Sie finden the Files icon. Klicken Sie auf it to manage your files.<\/p>\n

\nBy default, there are some files added to your account. These are just there to show the usability of the app. Plus, these files contain Manual and documentation, wenn Sie want to read them.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the file will be hochladened to Ihrer Seedbox, as it is the acting server behind the application.<\/p>\n

\nWenn Sie are making a new document then k\u00f6nnen Sie actually use premade templates and edit them.<\/p>\n

Wenn Sie want to access only media, that is video or images in your Nextcloud app, then k\u00f6nnen Sie use the option of photos, in the main menu.<\/p>\n

There are some pre-added photos and videos to show you how the app can be used. Similarly, k\u00f6nnen Sie hochladen your videos or photos and manage them using the Nextcloud app.\n<\/p>\n

Share files directly from Nextcloud.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is really really easy to share files using Nextcloud. Just \u00f6ffnen the Nextcloud app and finden the file you want to share.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Let us say, you want to share the Nextclud manual, klicken Sie auf the share icon in it.<\/p>\n

\nA sidebar will appear, from here, klicken Sie auf the plus button to create a sharable link for this document.\n<\/p>\n

Once the link is created, kopieren the link and share it with anyone you\u2019d like to share it with. They can access the file and even herunterladen it.<\/p>\n

Wenn Sie want to keep this link secure, klicken Sie auf the 3 dots that appear nach the link is created.<\/p>\n

Here, k\u00f6nnen Sie add a Passwort to the document link, set an expiration date, add a note to the receiver, or even unshare the document.\n<\/p>\n

Adding plugins\/apps to Nextcloud<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the top-right corner of the application, k\u00f6nnen Sie finden your user profile menu. From here, klicken Sie auf the apps menu.<\/p>\n

By default, a few apps are added to your Nextcloud.<\/p>\n

On the left-hand side, k\u00f6nnen Sie sehen a sidebar with many options.<\/p>\n

These are different categories verf\u00fcgbar for apps. Sie k\u00f6nnen finden whichever app suits your needs and add it to your Nextcloud account.<\/p>\n

In this case, we are taking the Analytics app as an example.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Klicken Sie auf the \u201cHerunterladen and Enable\u201d button to add your app.<\/p>\n

You will be able to see all the existing users from here and basic information like their Benutzername, group to which they belong, and space allocated to them.<\/p>\n

Wenn Sie want to remove or disable a user, then klicken Sie auf the 3 dots beside and user and w\u00e4hlen Sie any action you want to perform.<\/p>\n

Tracking activity in the Nextcloud app.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wenn Sie are the admin, then you need to be aware of all the things that are happening in your Nextcloud account.<\/p>\n

Just klicken Sie auf the \u201cActivity\u201d tab from the top-left menu and k\u00f6nnen Sie sehen all the activities.<\/p>\n
